ON HOLD - Live in Housekeeper in Suffolk

A very private principal is seeking a trustworthy and experienced housekeeper to live in on their large 5 bedroom country estate in a rural Suffolk location by the coast. The Principal splits her time between the UK and America and usually spends the Spring and Summer months in Suffolk.

This is a permanent and long term position where you will be responsible for the upkeep for the house, ensuring everything is ticking over and working and 'ever ready'. The grounds are maintained by external groundsman so you will be only permanent present member of staff. 

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Housekeeping

- Laundry and ironing

- Light cooking

- Running errands and shopping

- Receiving deliveries and post

- Keeping an eye on maintenance issues and reporting them

- Security of the property, setting alarms etc

This is a lovely role for someone who has experience working as a housekeeper in a country location before. The location is the popular busy seaside town of Southwold, located in a beautiful part of Suffolk.

This is a live in role, and the accommodation provided is a 2 bedroom apartment attached to the main swimming pool.

Driving isn't part of the role but might be advantageous for personal reasons if you want to explore and get about easily (you will need your own car).

Salary will depend on individual experience.
