Job Title: Butler House Assistant

Are you an experienced butler with a talent for providing exceptional service in a for a semi-formal household? We have a unique opportunity for a Butler to join our client, offering your expertise and dedication to maintaining the utmost excellence in the running and service of a household.
Position Overview:
As the Butler you'll be an essential part of a dynamic team overseeing a large residence country estate in Surrey. Your primary responsibilities will include traditional butler duties such as table setting, polishing, and top-notch table service. You'll also be responsible for managing the stocks and inventory of the pantry and provisions to ensure the smooth running of the household.
Key Responsibilities:

• Set and lay tables with precision and attention to detail.
• Expertly polish silverware, glassware, and other household items.
• Provide exceptional service, serving and clearing at the dining table.
• Maintain and manage pantry and provisions inventory.
• Work closely with other household staff to ensure a seamlessly run estate.

Working Hours:

• Friday: 2 pm - 10 pm
• Saturday/Sunday: 10 am - 10 pm
• Monday: 8 am - 4 pm
• Full-time position with live-out accommodation on a large estate.
• The family travels approximately 6 weeks per year, during which you'll have your own time.
• Flexible scheduling: Thurs-Mon/Tues when the family is in residence.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a butler, with a background as a footman for the Queen preferred.
• A strong sense of tradition and an eye for detail.
• Exceptional table service skills and a passion for service excellence.
• Organized and adept at managing household provisions and inventory.
• Valid driver's license for flexibility to travel between residences.
