Job Advert: Housekeeper Nanny - Notting Hill, London
Position: Full-Time Housekeeper Nanny
Location: Notting Hill, West London
Hours: Mon - Fri 7.30am - 4.30pm 3x per week, 10am - 7pm twice a week.
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per year DOE
Our clients, a warm, professional family based in Notting Hill seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper Nanny to join their household. This is a long-term position for someone who takes pride in their work, is highly organised, and genuinely loves working with children.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping 75%

  • Oversight of a meticulously organised 5/6-bedroom, 4-bathroom home.
  • Polishing brass, glass, and maintaining valuable artwork and decor.
  • Arranging flowers and keeping the home presentable between quarterly organiser visits.
  • Managing laundry and ironing efficiently for a busy family of 5!
  • Stock management for household supplies and food shopping/orders.
  • Preparing nutritious meals for the children, with the occasional meal for parents.
  • Keeping the kitchen stocked and organised.

Childcare 25%

  • 3 children: 1 baby 2 school age.
  • Must be confident with babies and, helping with schoolwork, creating a nurturing bond, and supporting their development.
  • Flexibility to assist with morning starts (7:30 am, three times per week) and occasional evening bedtimeAbout You:
    • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a high-standard household.
    • Personality: Warm, kind, and energetic with a genuine love for children. You should strive to form strong bonds and bring a happy energy into the home.
    • Organisation: Exceptionally efficient and detail-oriented with the ability to self-manage and take initiative.
    • Presentation: Professional, polished, and presentable.
    • Skills: A confident cook and capable of supporting children with homework.
    • Flexibility: Open to occasional travel (e.g., family trips to Ireland every 6-8 weeks, agreed in advance).
