Housekeeper in London with Travel

Housekeeper required for London based client with international travel included.

HNW couple in Belgravia are looking for a very experienced daily housekeeper to work 5 days per week flexibly, some weekends will be required.
The working hours are generally 10am - 7.00pm, but you must have willingness and be able to adapt to occasional changes in schedule. You will work with one other full time housekeeper.

The couple are looking for a housekeeper who is able to travel internationally with them 3-4 times a year.
The housekeeper will have top spoken English and communication skills. You will be well-presented and discreet, excellent standards are expected at all times in this semi-formal household with exceptionally high standards.

Longevity in all previous roles is essential along with very good written and verbal references for all previous positions.

The couple have 5 dogs! and do employ a full time dog carer, but you must be dog friendly as you may occasionally have to step in with feeds when the dog nanny is away etc.
Your duties will include the below, but are not exhaustive:

• Keeping house clean and tidy throughout the day. (3 bedroom apartment)
• General laundry and ironing including daily laundry, ironing and change of towels plus weekly change of bedding.
• Clothing care- Washing, ironing and steaming plus organising clothes, shoes etc to dry cleaners, cobblers etc.
• Maintain up-keep of furniture, art, china, collectibles, crystal and silver polishing.
• Keep constant supply of household essentials (water, coffee etc) and cleaning materials.
• Prepare for arrival of visitors and various needs when staying.
• Assistance with luggage, packing and unpacking for journeys.
• Shopping and ad hoc errands as required.
• Maintenance when principals are not in residence.
• Co-ordinating deliveries and maintenance visits.
• Cooking of simple, tasty, classic meals is beneficial.

Accommodation will be provided when travelling overseas
Salary will DOE £45,000 - £50,000 GPA DOE
