Live-out Housekeeper for Busy Family Home in Little Venice, London
Location: Little Venice, London W9
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Working Hours: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday (flexibility to stay later on 1-2 days a week)
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a professional, experienced live-out Housekeeper to join a busy and dynamic family home in Little Venice. The household consists of 2 adults, 3 teenagers (who live part-time at the house), 2 large dogs (including a friendly Golden Retriever!), and 1 cat. Family and animal friendly is key!
The role requires someone who on the ball with a great enthusiastic nature. Capable of maintaining and running this large 5-floor, 4-bedroom home.

Key Responsibilities:
- Daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, and deep cleaning (especially during refurbishment and building works).
- Managing laundry and ironing with particular attention to detail (weekly linen changes and specific laundering requirements).
- Helping cook family meals on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when the teenagers are home, staying slightly later as required (Overtime or time in lieu given).
- Confidently liaising with contractors and tradespeople, gardeners, etc
- Assisting with pet care, including feeding the dogs and rubbing them down after wet walks.
- Managing household supplies (e.g., keeping track of toothpaste, towels, soaps etc.), liaising with the family or PA when items need replacing or repairing.
- Using basic tech skills to manage online orders (Ocado, etc.) and communicate via whatsapp.
- Packing and unpacking for the principal, who travel frequently.
- Helping organise the childrens schedules, uniforms and school bags when they are there.

Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role within a private household as a sole or senior housekeeper.
- Confidence and initiative to manage the home, particularly when liaising with contractors.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with family members, contractors, and other staff.
- A love for animals and willingness to assist with their care.
- Flexibility to work some extra hours and adapt to the family's schedule as needed.
- High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
