Daily Nanny in Chelsea

£60000.00 - £70000.00 per annum

Job Description

A busy UHNW family in Chelsea is looking for an experienced, structured, and switched-on nanny to join their fully staffed household and care for four children (ages 2-10). The ideal candidate will be a team player, working alongside two other nannies in a rota system, ensuring the children's education and routines are maintained to a high standard.
The children follow a structured routine, with the eldest three attending full-time school in Battersea and the youngest currently in nursery for half days, transitioning to full days from September. A driver manages the school runs, but the nanny will be responsible for ensuring the children are prepared each morning, organizing school bags, uniforms, and maintaining a structured after-school routine. Learning is incorporated into their daily lives, and the nanny will play an active role in supporting their education, overseeing homework, projects, and engaging them in enriching activities. Afternoons are busy with extracurricular activities, and the nanny must be able to coordinate the children's schedules efficiently while ensuring a smooth handover between caregivers.
The nanny's duties are solely focused on the children, including their laundry, packing their belongings for travel, and maintaining their areas, while working alongside the other nannies as part of a team. No cooking or driving is required. International travel is a key part of the role, with the nanny accompanying the family on all school holidays.
Role & Responsibilities:

  • Sole focus on childcare and all nursery duties (children's laundry, packing for travel, etc.)
  • Supporting a structured schedule with an emphasis on learning and education
  • Engaging the children in age-appropriate developmental activities
  • Working closely with the other nannies to ensure continuity of care
  • Traveling internationally for up to 1.5 months per year (every school holiday)

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish
  • Highly structured, switched-on, and culturally aware
  • Strong experience in a formal household with multiple children
  • Ability to work in a team with other nannies and staff
  • Comfortable with international travel
  • No driving or cooking required

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional nanny who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment with a focus on education and cultural enrichment.

  • Days and hours: 3 days per week (2-9 PM) 2 full days (12 hours), working alongside another nanny
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Children: 4, aged between 2 and 10 years old (at nursery and school)
  • Languages: Fluent English, 2nd language must (ideally Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese)
  • Travel: Yes, international (Roughly 1.5 months throughout the year)
  • Accommodation: Live-in or live-out (Live-out preferred, but a cottage by the house is available)
  • Salary: £60-70K GPA, depending on experience and qualifications
