Assistant Project Manager – Interior Design  (Hackney) –  4 month Contract (Potential to go perm)

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a bright and switched on individual to join a rapidly expanding Interior Design studio based in East London for a minimum of 4 months. As the Assistant Project Manager you will support the current Project Manager with all things design from administration to diary management to ensuring the smooth conception and installation of all projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist with projects from concept to installation
  • Specify and source FF&E for projects, including making all the necessary logistical arrangements
  • Attend site meetings, as and when required (UK based)
  • Prepare relevant documentation for client's consideration, including hand sketches, physical boards and Adobe Suite visuals
  • Work alongside other members of the team and liaise with clients directly
  • General administration and misc. duties, answering telephones, project filing, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD user is advantageous
  • Social media management experience, including an understanding of business accounts and gaining exposure for the company
  • Understanding and experience of creating bathroom and kitchen layout designs
  • Proven background with Residential fit outs and new build projects
  • Willingness to learn and juggle multiple responsibilities

The successful candidate will be happy to work independently using their own initiative. You will also be extremely organised and able to communicate effectively. Knowledge of Photoshop and CAD are advantageous.
