Assistant in Directors Office -Major International Art Gallery

£35,000.00 - £40,000.00 DOE + Bonus + Benefits + Excellent Career Opportunity

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to help support a high profile Director of a major international art gallery. Working closely with the Director's EA and gallery team you will be supporting with a mixture of business and private responsibilities as well as getting involved with gallery exhibitions and events. Working directly with the EA you will ensure the office and procedures run smoothly at all times.

This role is ideally suited to somebody with a couple of years experience within the art world or equally someone with experience in a family office. This is a busy and responsible role that requires a proactive bright and positive individual who can think on their feet and he’s used to lots of changes. A self starter willing and committed to going the extra mile. The team in the gallery and directors office are extremely friendly and inclusive and part of the role will also be fostering good internal relationships. 

Duties in this role will be varied and will include but not limited to; diary management both business and personal (liaising with the MDs Household staff and family on scheduling and arrangements), alerting the EA to any upcoming exhibition events personal appointments birthdays etc, booking appointments meetings and restaurants. Assisting with all travel arrangements and logistics, booking flights hotels ground transport researching holidays and top destinations, preparing detailed travel and itinerary packs. General office administration to include filing copying scanning ensuring all documents are up-to-date, compiling expenses, processing invoices and generally ensuring the office is kept presentable and organised at all times. 

The successful candidate will be able to think on their feet, be solutions driven with a positive can-do attitude and have excellent attention to detail - a personal standard and pride in getting things right and maintaining a level of accuracy at all times.
