Job Title: Estate Manager Couple

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Generally, Monday to Friday with weekends off. With the understanding that there is some flexibility required if the principals require assistance at weekends.

A London based principal is seeking a proactive and experienced Estate Manager & Housekeeping couple to manage and maintain a beautiful estate in Surrey. The estate includes a recently refurbished main residence, a further 4 bedroom property and an additional 4 bedroom guesthouse. The role requires a blend of practical skills, proactive management, and a welcoming attitude to support the family and their guests.

Key Responsibilities:
Estate Management:

  • Oversee and maintain the estate grounds.
  • Manage and coordinate contractors, ensuring high standards of work and timely completion of tasks.
  • Operate and maintain estate machinery.
  • Collect wood, maintain paths, and ensure the grounds are well-kept and safe.
  • Assist in the set up events for events, liaising with suppliers and coordinating logistics.
  • Occasionally drive and collect guests from the local station.

Housekeeping:

  • Ensure the estate properties are kept to an immaculate standard.
  • Perform regular cleaning, laundry, and general upkeep of all properties.
  • Prepare the main residence for the principal's visits most weekends including fresh linen, stocked fridge, and a clean, welcoming environment.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in estate management and housekeeping, preferably running a private country estate together.
  • Ex Yacht background would be welcomed.
  • Strong practical skills, including operating estate machinery and managing contractors.
  • Excellent housekeeping skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive, with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Experience in hosting and creating a welcoming environment.
  • Full UK driving license

The property is a large 7 bedroom townhouse over 4 floors. The family consists of 4 children and 1 dog, requiring dedicated care and attention.
The couple will need to speak fluent French & English, Spanish is also a bonus.
You must have an EU passport or the right to work in France to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:
Property Maintenance

    • Overseeing the general upkeep of the property
    • Liaising and meeting vendors and suppliers
    • Updating household manuals
    • Reactive and proactive maintenance of the property on a regular basis
    • Ensuring the safety and security of the household at all times
    • Regularly interacting with the Household Manager in relation to property maintenance
    • Supervising the maintenance of the garden

Housekeeping

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Director of Property to manage a large, privately owned property portfolio (residential) to include a large estate in Buckinghamshire and a luxury residence in Central London.  The Principal is intending to add to the portfolio with properties in the UK, Europe & US so there will be regular travel to manage the Estates to a high standard.

You will have practical experience in M&E systems with a high level of tech and have enthusiasm and a good understanding of new technology available with regard to building management.  A relevant professional qualification is expected (MRICS) with strong building surveying and asset management experience.

A cv demonstrating extensive experience and operations within a private Family Office or UHNW luxury environment.  A top track record with 5 years+ in a senior position within residential property at the luxury end is required to be considered for this role.

Strong project management skills and able to input strategic planning for the future.  An excellent communicator and able to join a strong team and collaborate effectively with this team and external contractors.  Flexible and hands on, solutions driven and happy to work on site or remotely when required.  Good financial acumen, commercially astute with excellent analytical skills.

This role primarily focuses on providing personalised fitness and nutrition guidance to the principal, with engagement with guests, friends, or staff as needed – therefore a fully adaptable approach to training and clients’ individual needs based on ability, desires and requests.

Role:
Providing tailored fitness training and a macro lead nutritional programme to the Principal, with training and nutritional support to guests and some staff.
 
Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a personalised fitness training programme tailored to the individual needs and goals of the client
  • Provide support and motivation to the client to help them achieve their goals and objectives
  • Create customised nutrition plans and menus based on the client’s dietary preferences
  • Collaborate with the client’s Chefs to create healthy and balanced menus that align with their dietary goals and preferences
  • Monitor the client’s progress regularly and adjust training and nutrition plans as needed
  • Accompany the client on occasional travels to Dubai and Europe, ensuring that the same level of fitness and nutritional support at all times.
  • Assist with occasional errands and tasks for the family when required, as there is very close knit team in place at the household


The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience as a PT/Nutritionist working with private and/or HNW clients is beneficial, but not essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, or a related field
  • Certified Personal Trainer accreditation
  • Strong understanding of holistic health principles and nutrition
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours on rare occasions
